The EBC24 control unit is a PID-based (programmable temperature control) automatic controller that regulates the pressure or draught in the chimney to keep it constant.

The control unit automatically adjusts the speed of the chimney fan according to the amount of flue gases in the venting duct.

The EBC24 has a built-in safety system that disconnects the burner connected to the chimney system in case of insufficient chimney draught.

The control unit is not limited to one type of fuel, heating appliance, or chimney. It can be connected to one or two burners, but with the help of an ES12 relay box, it can be connected to up to 4 burners/heating installations.

The EBC24 is ready to operate immediately as it is pre-programmed from the factory. It automatically monitors all terminals and registered components connected to the regulator at the first startup. It can be further programmed on-site using its LCD screen and buttons.

A self-diagnostic panel with LEDs monitors all connection terminals for easy maintenance and troubleshooting. Provided the built-in safety system is satisfied, it is possible to use interconnected burners. Programming or data reading is performed via a USB port.

The EBC24 can directly control the chimney fan speed on a single-phase AC motor (1x230V) or indirectly on a three-phase motor via a frequency inverter that adjusts the motor speed.

The control unit has an option for an external input for a pressure switch or alarm sensor and an alarm output for a BMS (Building Management System).

The EBC24 is available in 2 versions: EBC24EU01 for indoor installation and EBC24EU02 for outdoor installation.
