Relay box
Used in solutions where more than two boilers are connected to the chimney. By using a relay box, it is possible to connect up to 4 boilers. If the need in a solution exceeds 4 boilers, up to 2 relay boxes can be connected. In such a solution, up to 8 boilers can be connected and controlled, each with Exodraft EBC22/24 control units.
Gas solenoid valves
Exodraft gas solenoid valves are used in conjunction with the EFC21 control unit to open/close the gas supply depending on input from the control unit. When the correct flow is measured in the chimney, the valve opens for the gas, and combustion can start. If the control unit receives input about insufficient flow in the chimney, the valve closes, thus avoiding the risk of gas leaks.
Frequency inverter
Frequency inverters are used to regulate the speed of Exodraft chimney fans with three-phase motors. In a heat recovery solution with a CFIR duct fan, the duct fan, which is electronically controlled, can only be regulated using a frequency inverter.
The frequency inverters are used in combination with the EBC22 control unit, EBC24 control unit, or the manual Pot-S control unit. All inverters are pre-programmed with unique software that is tested and designed to fit each specific chimney fan model.
